It's near the top right hand corner of the map in a dead end. If you go right in the corner of the map, go south a little and work your way in to the left.

I do save often now! I also export my saves to my SD card on a regular basis as one save crashed on loading so had to import an old save back in.

Lol it is a waste really. I first tested it on the island outside. There are only 3 enemies to kill outside and as soon as you go in a cave or town, the dragon does a disappearing act! It is useful in the dragon cave and castle though as it actively seeks out enemies and attacks from distance. Total...

Plus they take up valuable space in your inventory. There are three keys, 3 mage boards, duck whistle and dog bowl all taking up space.

Don't whatever you do give the dog the gold runes you find in the castle to look after for you. I gave the dog both of them and you can only get one back!

It was in the dragon cave. I got it on level 4 or 5 from a dragon snake. It can summon a dragon to fight with you. Not sure if it's a one time only deal as I've used it once and went back several times and not got another one.

You cannot keep reusing it like the duck whistle or dog bowl.

Or duplicate the dragon totem and have an army of dragons fighting beside you!

If you've already learnt the spells, you may have a spare book. You can actually equip it as a ranged weapon. It has some decent mage skills such as +5 intelligence and it's a decent ranged weapon for most of the game.
