Help I am stuck and trapped

I am in Gothland right outside of the pirate cave and I am trapped by tatzelworm which I can not hit. Worm hits me but I take no damage so I can not died. I tried the scroll but it states that I can only use the scroll in dungeons. I tried attacking worm with level 1 fireball but did zero damage. Help, how do I get out of this situation and I have no save I can revert back to?

For future reference: I will add a teleportation out of the pirate's cove because this situation seems to be quite common (sorry for that).

This game has been fun but this has been the most annoying part so far. I am trapped again by the worm outside of the dungeon near pirate cove. I really do not want to revert to an earlier save, I might have you edit location again. Instead of a portal, maybe a scroll that can be purchased that will transport you to the throne room by your dad and you can use that scroll from anywhere
