Farming places

What are the best places to farm certain items?
I'm mainly looking for iron ore.

Depends how far you have reached. The mountain passage is a good place.

I think my level is not yet high enough ... At the moment I have problems even in Gothland.

Your Level will be Maxed out at 40 as far as leveling up your character goes and will still feel not enough to handle whatever you encounter! Learning to reset points gained from leveling up to your Attributes and Skills combined with Equipment bonuses can make a difference when up against physical melee + ranged weapon attacks or magic abnormal status + ranged magic attacks. Also there are Two locations to reset Points by a Advisor (Royal Gardens outside of Evil Dad's Throne Room just above Fairy Entrance Portal in small room and the other location is inside Dark Castle which you go through the Mountain Passage to reach) who can allow you to reset your points to reuse/redistribute points to Attributes & Skills for however you need too for whatever situation your having trouble against or about to face. Melee - focus on attributes against physical attackers (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution as well Skills - defense, first aid, melee, range) or Magic Users - set up (Intelligence, Wisdom, Dexterity, Constitution also Skills - range, defense, first-aid as well keep at least one point on Petty Magic, three on High Magic,) also maintain a physical balance for the venture to the locations where magic users are plus there will be at least one melee attacker within group of magic users. That was my strategy you can experiment to find yours. Hope this helps, it did Big Time for me to beat main story. B
