The magician questline

When meeting with 'My mom' and getting the quest (ish) "Make dad show his love" I walk all the way back to castle black. When I speak with the imp there it's like my progression is reverted back to "Kill the witch" quest (the imp goes on about the witch and such). When I go back to the tower the magician and 'my mom' acts like it's the first time I'm there.

Anyway, I do the quest again (speak to magician -> teleports 5 lvls up to my mom -> speak to her and get the quest to speak to my dad). I teleport back to my dad (using the necklace) and he speaks about how proud of me he is.
Thats where the 2nd issue start, and its pretty serious.

All the dialogue options are just "Continue". When I click one of the 'Continue'-buttons the dialogue window just increases in size until its out of my viewport's bounds and I'm unable to click or do anything.

can you be so kind and send me your saved game for verification of the issue?
I think I've found the bug and corrected it but I want to make sure that everything works now.

Please start the game and go to the Settings Screen.
Then touch the "Lootbox RPG" logo at the top. Some buttons will appear at the bottom.
Touch the "Mail Savegame" button and send me the generated mail.

Good thing you managed to get the update pushed already - great work!
Since I missed the dialogue I also might have missed any pointers for what my mom would like..

I killed the dragon (the dragon character tile stays the same after you kill it btw, it seems like a bug) and constructed the explosive powder, but I’m all lost from here. Anyone have any pointers of where to look next?

I had a similar problem. After talking with mom at the top of wizard’s tower, i returned to speak with dad, but I can’t talk with him. He just attacks me. Did something Inadvertent that happened earlier disrupt the story line?

I am stuck trying to close the portal to the fairy realm. I have explosive powder, but I can’t use it at the entrance. Not sure what I’m missing.
