So I killed the Brainbug, and..? (spoilers, do not read!)

Basically what the title of this topic says.. I killed the Brainbug and there was NOTHING absolutely NOTHING it dropped. WTF? Not even a useless Brainbug kidney stone or anything decoratory?

Is this some kind of pun intended on the players? I would be seriously mad if I wasnt using the stacking exploit to get my regeneration potions multiplied by 10x.

Ironically, this Brainbug-drops-nothing problem is pretty much the same thing as with the original Starship Troopers where they find the Brainbug and the whole movie pretty much ends there. It would be amazing to actually see what happened next, how the people would exploit the Brain bug secrets and win over the bugs in the movie. But no, they had to cut it and the sequel was pretty darn awful. Such a shame, I loved that fucking movie.

Same thing here, with Brainbug gone, it drops nothing so it has no legacy.. how sad.

I suggest that you make the bug drop at least something useless. Or to make the pun to the real extreme, make it drop multiple useless things (aka souvenirs) which the player would carry around in the inventory for the rest of the game. For OCD people like me it would be really difficult to part away with these, especially if I didn't know they are useless.

Or yeah, make it drop something amazing instead, not generated, something unique. Isn't this why we play the game for?

Or make it drop a pet worm. That would be amazing too and a true legacy to that big ugly good-for-nothing motherfucker.
