Losing unique items

So recently, I accidentally lost my duck flute because I forgot to save and died. I now can’t get it back because it was a unique item. Is there any way to get another duck flute?

I think that as long as you don’t have one in your inventory then it can drop from it’s mob. The goblin herbalist, I think.
