as it was already reported, when you are low level, you don't need to clean the floor to complete the level, higher level means you have to find every trap to complete it at 100%
I was thinking of an item (or spell or scroll or something automatic) which can only be used when 100% ennemies are killed and you found the exit, pointing an arrow to a nearby trap (on the border of the screen), dispearing 10 step after been launched for example

There is already an item that does that.

They're a fairly rare drop, so good luck!

I use the magic spell Show Map - it provides locations of enemies, traps, removables and stair for the whole level. Very useful!
And it is a Petty Magic, which means it should be available for a quite low level player
