For crafting, I suggest a UI that allows you to input how many ingredients of a stack without having to jump through hoops by splitting stacks over and over again to get the right number. Additionally, if you are trying to craft an item, you input the recipe then get a list of options from known recipes and an option to attempt to create a new item with exactly the number of ingredients selected. The purpose of this is to avoid crafting unwanted items when trying out a new recipe but also keeping the ability to craft multiples of the same item.
Crafting was especially frustrating when using an ingredient like wood because I kept getting clubs or bows before I got the item I wanted that wasn't listed in my recipe book. I'm not sure if it is intended.

Re: Crafting UI
somebody says it happens, and if you don't want this to happens, you have to save before your try and if you don't get the right item, reload your save
however, i'm not sure, but for your first part of the request, isn't the anvil made for this ? (you have to KNOW the recipe before of course, but, anvil allow you to do this multiple time)

Re: Crafting UI
Oops, forgot about anvil, but it wouldn't hurt to have the interface in the crafting place too. But imo the rng element is unnecessarily time consuming and it makes it difficult to find new recipes
Re: Crafting UI
I agreed with these suggestions. I'd be better if we got these features. Loading the saved game over and over again until getting the desired item is also time-consuming. minecraft apk
