Walking through the throne

I have advanced quite deep into dungeons, until I've accidentally walked through the Evil Dad's thone tile. I was returning from the shop to my quarters, pointed at the tile near the entrance to my quarters, and the game algorithm by some strange reason set the path through the throne.

I got a hit from the Evil Dad, apparently, but it did not kill me instantenously, hence I've survived.
The only change since then is that now I cannot talk to the Evil Dad - every time I approach him, I now got a hit instead of an angry message.

I've advanced further into the realm, but I wonder now - has that accident with the throne changed the main storyline, or I still can finish it despite the Evil Dad not speaking to me anymore?

He will be peaceful again once he managed to kill you...
don’t forget to drop your items first before approaching him.

Kind regards

Thank you, I'll try this one. Dropping objects - do you mean storing them into the chest?

Today was a funny moment - my dog started to attack the Eveil Dad whike I was passing by from the quarters to the dungeon. Eventually the dog was killed by the daddy, but ut took him some time ))

Chest or throne room floor, both works. In non generated levels, your items will stay where you dropped them.

In addition, being a long-standing Nethack fan (played it for a long time), I enjoyed the Lootbox very much!
They're different, and I can see the Lootbox could have used some of the ideas from the Nethack to enhance the experience, but even at its current state Lootbox is highly enjoyable.

Looking forward to the extention (should you decide to make one) and planning to play Silversword
